Beautiful Brutalism

Synopsis

The nature of life and the human condition are met with beauty and the brutality of truth. Our stories are not new they vary in interconnectedness. We are the owners of our darkness and the end is our beginning. We shall transform over and over and rise anew.  In the blink of an eye, our forced utopian ideals and coping mechanisms quickly become convoluted, descending into a necessary cataclysmic dystopia as a collective purge giving way to newness. What makes us human today will become a myth of tomorrow. The tension between clenching to what is and what shall be is a brutal yet beautiful process. The transformation of our past, present, and future is simultaneous in this very moment.

Navigate a posthuman environment mired in traces of what once was, with artwork that alludes to sentiments of intimacy, nostalgia, pain, and identity. Explore the relationship between post-contemporary and post-apocalyptic aesthetics that populate the collective ethos of underground creators. The outcome is the disintegration of normativity as we look towards the future.
